To view unallocated space in Redhat linux we used parted command utility.
# parted /dev/sda print free (I assume disk as /dev/sda, otherwise replace it with your requirement)
# parted /dev/sda print free (I assume disk as /dev/sda, otherwise replace it with your requirement)
